Title: C++ Architect Locations: Remote Long term contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Architect with experience in using the Chromium web browser. This role is open to very strong developers with architectural experience. The position is fully remote and contract to hire. The successful candidate will join a team being built under a newly hired leader and work on a highly complex SAS product used in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. The current solution, which uses HyperV remote desktop access, needs to be scaled to accommodate expansion. Responsibilities: Architect and develop complex C++ solutions for a SAS product. Collaborate with the team to come up with innovative ideas and solutions. Work closely with the team leader and other stakeholders to ensure the product meets scalability requirements. Transition from the current 3rd party vendor (ThoughtWorks) to an in-house solution. Maintain and enhance existing codebase, ensuring it meets industry standards and best practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers on the team. Qualifications: Extensive experience with C++ development. Strong architectural skills and the ability to design scalable solutions. Very Strong Experience with the Chromium web browser. Familiarity with HyperV remote desktop access. Proven track record of working on complex software products. Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a remote team environment. Preferred: Experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
