Senior Architect and practitioner level please Senior Splunk Engineer Atlanta, Georgia (Remote) CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current Splunk certifications We are looking to place a Senior Splunk resource to continue to drive our client's current Splunk day to day use and make the most of the tool they currently have in place. One key skill is being able to interface with various levels of the organization as this has executive level visibility and is tied to several key event initiatives - with visibility to the CEO. This role requires a person who is innovative and excited about Splunk. Someone with a passion for the tool and for the work they do. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS: Responsibilities: Design, support and provide services for Splunk deployments into existing and new infrastructures Standardize Splunk platform deployment based upon proven best practice methods, to include configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX and Windows platforms Troubleshoot and support Splunk Platform and associated topologies on multiple operating systems Understand and deploy multi-cluster/cluster distributed architectures and application deployment processes Assist internal users of Splunk in designing and maintaining production quality dashboards, reports, visualizations and alerts Assist and support organizations in deploying Splunk platform across networks Provide assessment services to determine data inputs and sources of machine data to be ingested into the Splunk platform Monitor the Splunk Platform for capacity planning and optimization Provide services to tweak and fine tune existing Splunk deployments Help design core systems performance metrics and troubleshooting logs expertise for customers EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 10+ years direct hands on experience utilizing Splunk in enterprise environments and tools lifecycle management Direct experience in designing and architecting a Splunk enterprise infrastructure including forwarder, indexing and search head components Direct experience with Splunk environment scoping and implementation of tool infrastructure based on design specifications and data requirements Experience with Splunk log analytics configuration and logging visibility for critical infrastructure and applications Experience utilizing Splunk for application, infrastructure and systems management Experience with enterprise monitoring best practices and procedures including alerting and threshold setting Experience with infrastructure and/or application engineering Experience with AppDynamics a plus Must have excellent presentation and communication skills Thanks, and Regards, Mansi Verma TEK Inspirations LLC | 13573 Tabasco Cat Trail, Frisco, TX 75035 .
