Platform Data Architect 100% remote Contract C2C/w2/1099 Only USC GC GCEAD H4EAD Our client is seeking a Platform Data Architect. Manufacturing Environment This role will help modernize the future use of Data at this firm. Job Summary: Architectural Leadership and Vision: Lead the analysis and design of architectural roadmaps for -- databases, data access, and data-related technology architectures. Provide expertise on the overall best practices, standards, architectural approaches, and design of complex technical Data solutions. Formulate best practices and organize Data Management, Governance, and evolution processes. Product Selection and Implementation: Evaluate and select products that align with Business and IT needs, ensuring the technical viability of new projects. Design and implement -- enterprise Data Stores, Data Warehouses, Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Data Modeling, and Metadata management. Designing and Implementing Data Solutions: Collaborate with the Business and peers to develop business requirements for new requests, including project concept, scope, benefit, budget, and timelines. Engage with Data Platform customers/partners to understand their needs and provide guidance on appropriate data platform design/techniques. Education: Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent; certification or advanced degree in Data Analytics preferred. Experience: 7-10 years of Analysis, Design, and Selection/Implementation of Data focused Platforms. Proven experience in Data Architectural leadership, including designing and implementing new Data platforms. Expertise in visualization/reporting capabilities. Proficiency in metadata management, ETL processing, and reference data management. Experience in data application/platform instrumentation, measurement, log data processing, and monitoring. Strong background in scripting and automation. Experience in migrating legacy systems into a structured Data-centric platform. Manufacturing industry experience is considered a strong nice-to-have.
