Security Engineer Contract C2C/w2/1099 Local to TX only Any visa no H1B IT Security Engineer w/ HashiCorp Vault for our Financial client. Must have strong Vault experience. Responsibilities: Architect, deploy, and sustain a cutting-edge HashiCorp Vault platform that prioritizes reliability and scalability. Spearhead daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring of the Vault environment while leveraging Agile frameworks. Kanban is highly desirable, but any Agile experience is acceptable. Assist in mentoring junior engineers in Agile best practices, elevating team proficiency and cohesiveness. Required Skills: Familiarity with enterprise Identity Access Management. Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture. Expertise in Dev-Ops, CI/CD, and full lifecycle management. Flexibility to adopt a 3-2 hybrid model - three days in-office and two days remote.
