We are growing health plan data coming in, new acquisition data coming in, etc. the need is increasing for more and more data engineering Position Description: Define the project roadmap Work closely with Epic leadership Provides best practices and recommendations on data gathering, analysis, decision making, and development. Identifies opportunities to utilize Enterprise resources effectively to remove risks and keep development on target. Identifies emerging technologies, and provides recommendations for their adoption and implementation. Provides guidance and assessment of development effort for Enterprise Analytics projects Support ServiceNow ticket system as assigned Work closely with security and enterprise architecture teams to ensure adherence to the enterprise architecture and security standards Translate business requirements into appropriate architecture that balances speed to market, flexibility, integrity, security, and cost Lead and mentor members of the Enterprise Analytics department towards the next evolution of technology products leveraging cloud data platforms and advanced analytics Perform hands-on prototyping and evaluation of new technology solutions Participate in defining the target state technology roadmap Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the architecture Identify areas of integration and facilitates discussions, discovery Required Skills: 8+ years of total IT experience 5+ years in Data Engineering (Data Engineer for majority of background) 3+ years cloud-based data solutions with Azure Synapse or Databricks a must 1+ year of designing/implementing as an architect (ideally 3 years) Spark experience is a must CI (continuous integration) and CD (continuous deployment) a must Basic experience of one BI tool (i.e. Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) dashboarding, how do you create a Symantec model, direct lake from PowerBI, etc. Data modeling principles, including relational and dimensional Strong understanding of business and operational needs Data Modeling principles, including relational, dimensional, and NoSQL techniques ETL/ELT processes, data integration patterns, data warehouse concepts a must Bonus Skills: Healthcare experience a bonus Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment business intelligence information technology Pennsylvania Azure DATA Architect- Hybrid in PA :: NO H1B -Local or Nearby Candidates Highly Desired [email protected] |
