MAKE SUGGESTIONS ON THE MODELING, HEAVIER ON IMPLEMENTATION SIDE. Need experience with newer ETL models Gather bus requirements document Heavy work with SQL . Lot of query databases including Teradata and other Pick apart data Knows how to problem solve in the sql relational area Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing, data mapping, and data conversion activities Well versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle and methodologies JD Required: Azure synapse Production pipelines. Shadowing other pipelines in Teradata Moving all IICS and Cognos and Teradata to Azure DATA MODELING EXPERIENCE. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5+ years of related professional experience Degree in technology related area preferred MUST HAVE Skills: Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing, data mapping, and data conversion activities Well versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle and methodologies Job Responsibilities: Responsible for understanding source systems, data flows and their data models Responsible for analyzing data to validate business domains and requirements Close collaboration with Data Architect to design new data models and new views Develop source to target mappings for data lineage (STTM) Responsible for data profiling and ensuring data quality requirements are accurate and complete Validates that data integration, data movement, and warehouse meets requirements and service-level agreements Works with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications Act as the conduit between the business subject matter experts and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood Act in an advisory capacity in data model reviews, architecture approach and solution design to ensure solution meets business requirements Engages in test strategy and test plan development and the execution of use cases to validate data (e.g., create test data, identify existing data to use for testing, writing test scripts to validate data loads, conversions, views, opening defects, etc.) Responsible for communicating planned and unplanned activities to appropriate parties as needed Position Requirements: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity Excellent written and oral communication, as well as, strong organizational and presentation skills High achievement orientation with a willingness to learn Exhibit a strong desire to understand the organization, its industry, and its strategies Possess a solid overall understanding of technology concepts, trends and capabilities Skillful at applying business and technical skills to drive innovation and performance improvement Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment Demonstrated facilitation and meeting management skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships within and between individuals and cross-functional teams Must exhibit strong customer service orientation Ability to influence and motivate individuals and teams to drive mutually beneficial outcomes Understands and demonstrates the company's core values of Communication, Consideration, Cooperation, Accountability and Innovation Working knowledge of agile methodology framework is a plus Technology/Application Requirements: 5+ years experience working as a data analyst leveraging BI and DB tools in a centralized data warehouse environment 5+ years hands-on experience working with SQL and a strong understanding of different data structures (flat files, relational, etc.) 4+ years experience with data modeling concepts and techniques Experience with DB Visualizer or similar DB Query tool is required Experience working with Cognos v.8.x or higher or similar BI tool is a plus Experience working with Power BI tool is a plus Experience working with Azure Synapse, Teradata DW or other DBMS is a plus Best Regards, Manendra Das Technical Recruiter, VYZE INC.
