The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team Job Duties: Provides resolution to problems that can be solved over the phone, and when necessary, refers more complex problems to a qualified support technician Provides first level support to end users from plans General understanding of multiple business processes, compliance, and workflows and apply that knowledge to your daily support of the business. May include production support and ad hoc reporting. Extensive healthcare domain knowledge Interact with internal and external support teams and third party vendors to identify and correct core problems Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties Escalates incidents to escalation teams to ensure customer resolution Provides timely communication (oral or written) to the Level 2 support or other management personnel, as needed Promptly consults Level 2 support or other management personnel regarding quality issues to determine acceptability or course of action Demonstrates commitment to and compliance with all company and departmental policies, procedures and practices Develops and maintains current knowledge of assigned business areas, Mutual of Omaha practices, the insurance industry, and the business environment. Continues to improve the understanding of business system tools, processes, practices, and methodologies. Communicating effectively with internal business partners and stakeholders throughout the division and/or operation.
