The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco ACS, network security, and access control systems. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining ACS solutions to ensure secure and efficient network access for our organization. Key Responsibilities: ACS Management: Configure and manage Cisco ACS for network authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services. Network Security: Implement and maintain security policies and access controls to protect organizational data and resources. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve ACS-related issues, including authentication failures and policy misconfigurations. Integration: Integrate Cisco ACS with other network and security systems, including firewalls, switches, and routers. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for ACS configurations, policies, and procedures. Monitoring: Monitor ACS performance and logs to ensure optimal operation and compliance with security standards. Updates and Upgrades: Apply updates and patches to the ACS system and manage version upgrades. Support: Provide technical support and training to internal teams regarding ACS-related issues and best practices. Compliance: Ensure that ACS configurations comply with organizational policies and industry regulations. Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 8+ verifiable years of Network Engineering 3+ years of experience with Cisco ACS or similar AAA solutions. Experience with other Cisco security products is advantageous. Skills: Proficiency in Cisco ACS configuration and management. Strong understanding of network protocols and security practices. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. Familiarity with integration of ACS with various network and security devices. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Certifications: Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCNP Security) are a plus Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) is a plus. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks. Experience in a large enterprise environment with complex network topologies.
