Role :: Industrial IOT Embedded Software Location :: Richardson, TX 75082/Remote Type :: Contract USC and GC only Embedded Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software solutions for industrial IoT devices and systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. Apriso Integration: Work with the Apriso platform to develop and integrate MES solutions that optimize manufacturing processes, improve production efficiency, and enhance real-time data visibility. Industrial IoT Solutions: Implement IoT solutions that enable the integration of sensors, controllers, and other industrial devices with MES systems to support data-driven decision-making. System Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and design, ensuring seamless integration of IoT devices with existing MES infrastructure. Data Management: Develop software solutions that facilitate the collection, storage, and analysis of data from industrial IoT devices, supporting predictive maintenance, quality control, and other key manufacturing processes. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including software design specifications, user manuals, and system integration guides. Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of embedded software solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support for deployed IoT and MES solutions, diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a focus on industrial applications. Proven experience with Apriso and MES platforms. Experience with Industrial IoT solutions, including device integration, data communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA), and edge computing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python. Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux. Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP). Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems is a plus. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure IoT, AWS IoT) and data analytics tools. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
