We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our team and work with one of our direct clients. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to lead and shape data engineering practices from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: Serve as a strategic advisor, providing leadership and guidance on data engineering projects. Offer insights and recommendations to optimize data processes and solutions. Technical Expertise: Utilize deep expertise in Data Bricks, Azure, and other cloud technologies to design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures. Healthcare Domain: Apply solid healthcare experience to ensure data solutions meet industry standards and address specific needs within the healthcare sector. Architectural Role: Take on the role of lead or architect, driving the design and implementation of data solutions. Ensure best practices are followed and solutions are scalable and efficient. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and IT professionals, to ensure seamless integration of data solutions. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering and cloud technologies. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within data processes. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as a Lead Data Engineer or Data Architect, with a strong background in the healthcare industry. Technical Skills: Expertise in Data Bricks, Azure, and other cloud technologies. Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of data engineers. Experience providing strategic and advisory feedback. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure certifications). Experience with other cloud platforms and big data technologies.
