http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=164895&uid= From: Sandeep, Ark Infotech Spectrum [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi , This is Sandeep from Ark Infotech Spectrum and please find the job description below which suits your profile and let us know your interest for this position Job Title : Mainframe System Admin Implementation : Duration: 6+ Months Location: Remote POSITION OVERVIEW : Mainframe DB2 Database administration activities Day-to-day tasks of monitoring Batch jobs and taking timely actions to fix Batch support issues Maintenance activities such as REORG, RUNSTATS and other regular DB2 utilities such LOAD, UNLOAD, REPAIR etc., Perform Database Backup and Restore Perform Data refresh of Test database systems from Production database Create and maintain Database objects such as Tables, Indexes, Triggers, etc., Technical proficiency of SPUFI, QMF, OPTIM and nice to have BMC Catalog Manager, Change Manager and Mainview Performance tuning of long running and CPU intensive jobs, SQL queries Perform Database change requests such as running SQL queries, Loading of data, access related requests Mainframe System admin activities Technical proficiency of BMC Control-M product Day-to-day activities if monitoring daily Batch jobs, FTP jobs, re-start/re-run of jobs, Scheduling of Jobs Analysis of Jobs related of Mainframe System and fixing them Coordination with other team members for timely resolution Documentation of Resolution of Tickets Provide RACF related access requests Nice to have DASD Storage management activities such as Allocation of DASD Volumes Perform Back up of requested data files Technical Skills Required: TSO/ISPF, JCL, VSAM, COBOL, CICS, DB2, SQL DB2 Database Administration DB2 Admin Products viz. IBM or BMC DB2 related tools such as SPUFI,QMF, OPTIM and nice to have BMC admin products such as BMC Catalog manager, Change manager, Mainview BMC Control-M Scheduler/Automation MF System Admin Requirements: z/OS HCD/IOCP, SMP/E, JES2, TSO, SDSF, TCP/IP, VTAM, DFSMS, RMM, RMF/SMF, WLM, IPCS, Netview, Unix System Services, RACF, ServerPac z/OS install/upgrade experience DB2/QMF System level support, installation/migration/troubleshooting, (DBA experience a plus) CICS System level support, installation/migration/troubleshooting BMC Control-M Install/upgrade/troubleshooting experience Operation/scheduling/job error resolution experience ISV Software BMC DB2 Software Suite (Catalog Manager, Change Manager, DASD Manager, Load/Plus, Unload/Plus) BMC Mainview for DB2/CICS Cincon Mantis ASG PRO/JCL Compuware (File/AID, XPEDITER TSO/CICS) Software Engineering of America ($AVRS, TRMS) Micro Focus ChangeMan ZMF/DS Thanks and Have a Great Day!....
