Title : Test Automation Engineer / Lead Location : Richmond & McLean, VA - Remote Role Experience : 11+ years Payrate : 60$/hr on C2C Fixed Must Need prior Capital One experience Notes: They will coordinate with multiple component owners across card tech LOB to get business case scenarios for the tests and create automated functional tests for the components. Programming Languages - Java, Python, Node.js and GoLang Experience working in Test Automation frameworks like Cucumber, Karate Experience working with AWS services Knowledge on CICD Pipeline (Jenkins) Experience working with Test management tools like JIRA Xray Job Description: Test automation experience along with Java, Selenium. Good knowledge of Selenium WebDriver Well versed with Agile, DevOps and Continuous Delivery Experience Configuring Selenium Test Environment Experience creating and maintaining automated scripts using Selenium Experience collaborating with developers to design unit testing code coverage Experience managing script changes and executing regression testing Experience creating, enhancing, debugging and running test cases Ability to write automated test scripts and test plans for web applications. Experience implementing test automation techniques to automate test scripts. Strong SQL query writing skills. Broad knowledge and experience in testing principles, practices, tools and techniques. Able to assess and mitigate risks. Ability to manage changing priorities. Excellent organization, time-management, and leadership skills Demonstrates high degree of initiative, self-discipline, and motivation Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships Knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment. Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends. Outstanding oral and written communication skills sufficient to effectively convey highly complex information and concepts to customers and peers of varying technical ability, fosters working relationships with customer stakeholders. Broad and deep knowledge of process improvement activities. Proficient at evaluating and recommending testing tools and techniques. Bachelors degree in related technical field Responsibilities: Documents automation test strategy and related design. Test planning, performing, analysis and reporting on test results upon which management can make informed quality decisions about an application under test. Work closely with technical leads, developers, quality assurance analysts, and client subject matter experts to document detailed test plans, test scripts and write automated tests to verify requirements. Some level of coordination will be required to track all activities related to following the business process as well as providing verbal and written updates to management and other stakeholders. Consults with project management to plan testing efforts. Participates in requirements gathering sessions and converts requirements into comprehensive test plans and scripts. Manages defects by recording, reporting, analyzing, and tracking defects to resolution. Drives quality by collaborating with development staff to identify, reproduce, resolve and retest defects. Performs database queries and verifies data results Present testing options and recommendations to facilitate testing and performance Design and develop test automation scripts. Research issues in software through testing.
