AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Cary NC or Frisco TX(Hybrid 1-2 days a week office)

Contract

                Profiles Needed

                Experience:

             Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or 10+ years relevant experience

             10+ years of hands-on AWS experience with at least 1 implementation (preferred in an Enterprise scale environment)

             5+ years of hands- AWS implementation experience across a broad range of AWS services.

     Qualifications:

             In depth AWS development experience (Elastic Beanstalk, RDS (Relational Database Service), MongoDB, EC2, S3, Lambda, Docker, Amazon EKS, Amazon DocumentDB, PostgreSQL)

             AWS platform architecture, including areas such as: Organizations, Account Design, VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), Subnet, segmentation strategies.

             IaC (Infrastructure as Code) Scripting experience Cloud Formation, Terraform.

             AWS Cost Management and Optimization

             Backup and Disaster Recovery approach and design

             Environment and application automation

             Network connectivity, Direct Connect and VPN (Virtual Private Network)

             Experienced in developing Web Services with Python, JSON

             Comfortable with a wide range of software development stacks, including but not limited to (.NET core/asp.net, c#, java, SQL server, JavaScript (ES6 preferred) and/or TypeScript Vue.js, etc., Docker, SOA

             Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline (Azure, AWS Code Deploy, GitHub, Jenkins)

             Familiar with Encryption, Logging, and Privacy/Security Protocols (e.g. TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.2)

             Experienced in developing test plan, test cases, baselines, and conducting end-to-end testing.

             Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers

             Demonstrated ability to adapt to modern technologies and learn quickly
