Must have very strong experience with Flink and Kafka Minimum 10 years of experience specializing in cloud and on-premise application modernization, migration, and adoption Experience in utilizing virtualization, DevOps pipelines, shared infrastructure deployments with Terraform, and data pipelines Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and preferably, Container Management software (Kubernetes) Nice to haves: Experience with low-latency, high-throughput systems using Kafka and NoSQL databases Experience in writing applications for deployment in the cloud environment Hand-on experience with Unit testing (Mockito) Excellent communication skills Experience in the financial services sector is highly advantageous. Responsibilities: . As a senior developer utilize Java 8-11, including Stream API, multi-threading, collections, and profiling, to build and maintain streaming applications. Leverage Apache Flink, Kafka, Redis Cache, and enterprise databases to ensure robust and efficient data streaming. Lead efforts in modernizing, migrating, and adopting cloud and on-premise applications using virtualization, DevOps pipelines, and shared infrastructure deployments with Terraform. Ensure seamless integration and optimization of data pipelines in various environments. Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput data streaming solutions using Kafka and NoSQL databases. Focus on performance optimization to meet stringent real-time data processing requirements. Develop applications for cloud deployment with a strong emphasis on containerization using Docker and container management with Kubernetes. Ensure scalable and resilient application deployment in cloud environments. Implement unit testing strategies using Mockito to ensure code quality and reliability. Maintain excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
