QA Tester Boston, MA Candidates have to be local, 4 days onsite, must interview onsite. Property & Casualty Insurance experience is required (Home, Auto, Property, etc. insurance) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Based on project requirements and technical design, develop & execute software test cases - Plan test schedules & strategies in accordance with project scope & delivery dates - Document test cases, results and defects utilizing MicroFocus (formerly HP) Quality Center/ALM - Create and manage test data, including data for use by automated scripts where applicable - Document and communicate project quality over the course of testing, including readiness for release using our standard test process and status reporting template - Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality - Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase - largely through test information sharing and test data creation for UAT team members using our automated processes Desired Skills: 3-5 years testing and/or Property & Casualty Insurance experience Experience with Quality Center/ALM for requirements, test case and defect management Data testing experience including writing SQL and working with XML files Exposure to Property & Casualty Insurance a plus Excellent skills as a communicator and facilitator, both written and oral Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish a common goal Self-starter with strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills A process improvement mind-set Thanks & Regards, Saurabh Singh E: saurabh.singh @sanmanaglobal.com | www.sanmanaglobal.com 2338 RAY HUBBARD WAY, WYLIE | TEXAS, 75098 -- Keywords: quality analyst information technology hewlett packard Massachusetts Urgent Need of QA Tester (P&C) -- Local to Boston, MA [email protected] |
