Position: SAP Funds and Grants Management Location: Washington DC (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term We are seeking an experienced SAP Funds Management and Grants Management Specialist to oversee and optimize our SAP systems functionalities related to funds and grants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM) modules to ensure effective financial planning, budgeting, and grant administration. Key Responsibilities: SAP Configuration & Implementation: Configure and maintain SAP Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM) modules to align with organizational needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and implement system solutions. Budget Management: Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes within SAP FM, including budget planning, allocation, and monitoring. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of budget expenditures. Grants Administration: Manage the full lifecycle of grant management within SAP GM, from proposal and award to reporting and closeout. Ensure compliance with grant requirements and regulations. Reporting & Analysis: Develop and generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into financial performance and grant status. Analyze financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning. Support & Troubleshooting: Provide end-user support and training for SAP FM and GM modules. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on SAP best practices and new functionalities to continuously improve systems and processes. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and accounting standards. Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Masters degree or relevant certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) is a plus. Experience: Proven experience with SAP Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM) modules. Strong background in financial management, budgeting, and grant administration. Skills: Proficiency in SAP FM and GM modules, including configuration and customization. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP integration points with other modules (e.g., Financial Accounting, Controlling). Experience with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.
