The Data Migration Consultant is responsible for managing and executing data migration activities towards the delivery of key SAP S4 HANA projects. The role requires a deep understanding of data migration strategies, SAP system landscapes, Bluefield implementation and transformations, knowledge, and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA LTMC tool (Data Migration Cockpit). The role will involve close cooperation with multiple teams including FICO, OTC, PTP, Development (ABAP), Integration and Basis architects, Business process owners, and vendors Design and implement a data migration strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and leverages the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA. Use SAP LTMC for data ETL processes, ensuring effective integration and optimal usage within the S/4HANA environment. Experience of migrating heavily customized data models (custom fields & tables) Expert level LSMW user Expert in the usage of standard SAP mass data maintenance tools and transactions Perform data models and data mapping for transitioning from a pre business process change stare to a post transformation state. Conduct system analysis, performance tuning, and post-migration review to confirm effective data transition. Handle and rectify data-related issues encountered during migration. Provide insights, lessons learned, and suggest best practices for S/4HANA migration project. Document the data migration process, mapping, and technical details for future reference and continuous improvement.
