Please have a look and let me know if you have any suitable candidates Role: BI Engineer/Analyst Location: IL (Onsite) Need profiles with strong Python experience NOTE: Main emphasis is on SSAS Tabuler cube, candidate must have minimum of 2/3 real life SSAS cube implementation experience and he/she has to articulate those experience well. Candidate must be at 4/5 minimum. Next emphasis would be PowerBI in an advanced level like DAX, Power Query etc. Candidate must be at 3.4/5 minimum. Last but most important is SQL Server and TSQL experience with SQL performance tuning/troubleshooting skills for some slow performing reports and dashboards. Dont Submit profiles without SSAS Tabuler cube, PowerBI and SQL server. Responsibilities: Gather, structure, and analyze data from multiple complex data sources into actionable business insights using industry standard analytical tools and technologies. Collaborate with a team of data architects, data engineers for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data to support organizational needs and support the development and automation of standard data analysis. Partner with the analytics reporting team to identify the appropriate data sources and analysis methodology to meet business needs with strong financial business acumen. Presenting the results of the data analysis, as well as recommendations, to management and analytic reporting team Profiling data and formulating data flows/business logic Documenting/establishing business measures with corresponding criteria. Reconciliation of data across systems and sources Knowledge of database management and file access methods and analytical processing. Highly experienced on working with SQL Server. Strong knowledge and understanding of normalized and star-schema (dimensional) physical models and logical modeling concepts. Skills & Technology: MUST be highly skilled and experienced in: SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - Create Tabular Model Dax MDX Power Query M language Power BI SQL Server Database SQL Excel Pivot tables and power pivot Power Apps Experience developing power apps to augment ingestion of data to SSAS Cubes. Dot NET Ability to develop C# and Dot NET applications to maintain SSAS metadata and processing plans. SISS Packages Ability to develop SSIS packages to augment ingestion of data and automate processing of SSAS Cubes.
