Job Title : Lead Android Developer L ocation: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Local Candidates Only Duration: 6+ months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION About the job Android Development Lead: To join Squad A. Mobile Developer responsible for recommending the most optimal mobile design and put a design pattern in place immediately, so that development on the prototype can be done in parallel to the wireframes being completed. .NET Core, React (primary tech stack); Android (or possibly IONIC) development on Samsung tablets. The application is being rewritten on a cloud native platform. .NET Core, React (primary tech stack); Android development on Samsung tablets. Will follow Judge led UI/UX design patterns. There is an existing/working prototype, all 9 screens are ready, as well as the underlying database, so creating the initial prototype will be a lift and shift then, optimization efforts can begin, UX & Mobile recommendations can be incorporated, design patterns will be validated, etc. Once design patterns are validated and UX recommendations are incorporated into the prototype, they can proceed to develop the full application. Application Details: Safety permit issuing application for internal technicians. There are 100+ nationwide facilities where potentially hazardous repair work is done; before a technician is allowed to get onto the shop floor, the right safety permits must be issued to them. There are 9 categories each category has a series of forms/data entry points that need to be completed before the permits can be issued Current Process: The technician receives a new work order, waits in line for a tablet, must physically take the tablet to the location(s) within the facility where the repair work needs to be done, answers questions on a series of forms about potential risks in those areas and upload photos, takes the tablet back to the main office (or area with internet connectivity) so the data can sync to the server and the permit(s) can be issued .
