Role :: Capital Business Analyst with Performance & Analytics Location :: Boston/Quincy MA Duration :: 12 Months We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with expertise in Capital Markets and Performance & Analytics. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing data-driven solutions that optimize business performance. This role requires a deep understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and performance analytics, along with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to capital markets and investment performance. Develop, implement, and maintain performance measurement frameworks. Generate detailed reports and dashboards that provide insights into financial performance, risk management, and market trends. Business Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize business processes in capital markets operations and performance analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk. Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to capital markets analytics, from inception to completion. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. System Implementation & Support: Participate in the implementation and enhancement of analytics systems and tools. Provide ongoing support and training to users of performance analytics systems. Market Research: Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in capital markets and performance analytics. Conduct market research to identify potential impacts on the organizations investment strategies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within capital markets, investment management, or a related financial services sector. Proven experience in performance analytics, including experience with relevant tools and methodologies. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis and performance measurement tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is preferred. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
