Role :: .Net Core developer with Rest API Location :: Dallas , TX || Local Only Duration :: 12 Months Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using .NET Core. Build, test, and deploy RESTful APIs that integrate with front-end applications and third-party services. Collaborate with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. API Design & Implementation: Create and maintain API documentation, ensuring that APIs are easy to understand and use by other developers. Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices in APIs. Optimize APIs for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring minimal latency and efficient data processing. Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high code quality. Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and robustness of applications. System Integration: Integrate .NET Core applications with various databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases. Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to API performance and reliability. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in .NET Core, REST APIs, and software development. Continuously seek ways to improve existing applications, optimizing performance and user experience. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to decision-making processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET Core. Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using .NET Core. Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies. Solid understanding of API security standards, including OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS. Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is a plus. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
