Must be able to develop on Windows, Unix, MacOS, iOS, Android (REASON: This is a Mobile App) Job Title: Device Driver Developer (Windows & Cross-Platform) Overview: We are building a cutting-edge service called Autonomo, designed to track smart assets through Wi-Fi location tracking and detection of other smart assets. As part of our ongoing development, we need to rework the Wi-Fi adapter portion of our service, which currently uses a Wi-Fi Direct Adapter for beaconing and scanning. We are seeking a skilled Device Driver Developer with a focus on Windows, but with the potential to work across multiple platforms in the future. Key Responsibilities: Develop and rework the Wi-Fi adapter portion of Autonomo, focusing on a Wi-Fi Direct Adapter to beacon and scan. Design, implement, and optimize device drivers, specifically Filter Drivers for Windows. Collaborate on cross-platform development, including MacOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android, and iOS. Participate in full-stack development if skills and interest align. Skills & Qualifications: Extensive experience in device driver development, specifically for Windows, with strong knowledge of Filter Drivers. Familiarity with driver development for other operating systems (MacOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android, iOS) is a plus. Ability to navigate the complexities of Windows driver documentation and implementation. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation. Full-stack development experience is a significant advantage. Employment Flexibility: Open to non-permanent positions or specialized driver development roles. Willing to serialize the hire, adjusting headcount to focus on Windows development first. Ideal candidates will have a passion for driver development and an interest in contributing to other areas of the stack.
