AWS Cloud Security Governance Engineer Location : Manassas, VA (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote/Week) Duration : 12+ Months Contract Visa Status : USC & GC Interview Process: MS Teams Video Interview for Non-Local Candidates In-Person Interview for Local Candidates from nearby states Key Responsibilities: Design and implement robust security controls for cloud environments, with a strong focus on AWS. Develop and enforce cloud security governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct comprehensive security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain security architectures and frameworks. Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation. Provide guidance and best practices for cloud security to development and operations teams. Must Have Skills: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security : Deep expertise in AWS security services and best practices. Cloud Security Governance: Strong experience in creating and enforcing security policies in a multi-cloud environment. Proven experience conducting security assessments and risk analyses, and developing security concepts. Knowledge of network security principles and practices in cloud environments. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
