The ideal candidate also would have proficiency in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) along with strong communication skills to brief executive stakeholders on network architecture and security strategies effectively. Here is a summary of skillset were looking for in the Engineer. Experience implementing and managing network architecture solutions with a focus on Cisco ISE for identity and access management. Support the development and enforcement of network security policies and procedures utilizing Cisco ISE and other security technologies. Configure and manage network access control policies utilizing the 802.1X protocol Configure and manage device posture policies Proven experience in Cisco ISE, LAN, security, and routing technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions and security measures effectively. Provide technical expertise and guidance on Cisco ISE, LAN, WLAN, VPN, and security best practices. Strong knowledge of LAN design, security protocols (e.g. 802.1X, ACLs, TACACS), and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP). Experience conducting network assessments, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain network reliability and security. Experience in implementing and managing network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Assist with developing implementation and migration plans. Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings on network architecture, security strategies, and project updates. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively brief executive stakeholders.
