Please share resumes with BIOTECH INDUSTRY Client EXPERIENCE Power BI Developer Location: Remote - EST hours USC, GC, GCEAD H4EAD Contract C2C/w2/1099 CANDIDATE MUST HAVE BIOTECH INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE As part of the Data Science and Management team, you will address the needs of scientists and engineers involved in product development, spanning from research to production phases. Required qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, or equivalent. Needs to have Biotech industry experience. Must have >2 years working experience within scientific data solutions in a biotechnology setting >=1 year Experience developing dashboards from complex data models using PowerBI, or an alternate Data Visualization tool such as Tableau. Familiarity with at least two database design and querying languages such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a high level of ownership and seeing assignments through to completion. Strong stakeholder-oriented communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Science, Biotechnology, or equivalent. Knowledge of lab processes and operations, and/or experience with greenhouse trials. Highly proficient in Excel, with experience developing functions and VBA macros. Ability to interact with both lab/non-data and data/IT personnel to apply an off-the-shelf data management system based on a collected set of user requirements. Experience in writing software documentation and conducting testing. Experience with ERP systems such as D365, Salesforce etc. Responsibilities: Collaborate within a highly cross-functional biotechnology data solutions team to develop and deploy decision enabling dashboards. Engage with stakeholders to understand and create data visualization solutions using a dashboarding tool such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc. Follow Agile methodology for report and dashboard development. Prepare documentation and conduct functionality tests. Clearly articulate and communicate results, solutions, and vision to peers and leaders.
