Description: Strong experience with creation of test strategy, including possible testing approaches, testing tools to use, how to execute the testing and understanding automation techniques that could be utilized and how to integrate those automation techniques into our testing approach (our SDET will do the heavily lifting with executing the test automation) Strong experience creating test and validation data from the Mainframe. This person will be pulling data from the Mainframe (IBM DB2, COBOL, CICS) to create our test/validation data sets Well versed in testing leadership including representing QA point of view in client stakeholder meetings to advance testing approach and testing documentation. This will entail the person having excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and have the ability to lead our testing team. Large scale mainframe migration/modernization experience and/or healthcare experience are a big plus Must have the ability to articulate and document Requirement traceability matrix, test considerations, test strategy, test plan and test cases for mainframe modernization initiatives. Must have the ability to right size a team of QA engineers and lead them to deliver within a well-defined defect management framework. Should have solid understanding of mainframe workloads, app modernization approach and app boundary integrations. Should have ability to derive test cases for CICS screens based on user actions performed & outcomes. Should have the ability to replicate & execute the app-specific test cases derived from mainframe, to a java app deployed as microservices. Should have extensive experience working in US health insurance payers and good awareness of EDI, claim processing, eligibility and provider systems. Candidate should embrace automation initiatives and should have prior experience implementing test automation at scale. Excellent communication skills ability to interact with key stakeholders and document information gathered.
