Role: OBIEE Developer Location: anywhere in USA - Initial Remote to start later onsite Duration: Long term contract Job description: We are looking for a highly skilled OBIEE Consultant with a deep understanding of OBIEE migrations and implementations. The consultant will work closely with our internal team to manage the migration of the OBIEE platform to new on-premises servers. This role is critical to ensure that the new setup meets or exceeds the capabilities and performance of the existing system within a tight timeframe. Key Responsibilities: Migration Management: Oversee the migration of the OBIEE platform to new on-premises servers. Ensure that the migration is completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to business operations. Performance Tuning: Perform performance tuning and optimization on the new OBIEE setup to ensure it meets or exceeds the performance of the old system. Clustering and Catalog Restoration: Implement clustering strategies and restore the OBIEE catalog to ensure the new environment functions seamlessly. Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation related to the migration process, including configuration, setup, and troubleshooting guides. Quality Assurance: Ensure the new OBIEE setup maintains or improves upon the capabilities and performance of the previous system. Address any issues promptly to meet business requirements. Support and Coordination: Work closely with BBI and other stakeholders to address any concerns, provide expertise, and support throughout the migration process. Qualifications: Experience: Extensive experience with OBIEE implementations, migrations, and performance tuning. Proven track record of managing similar migration projects successfully. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in OBIEE architecture, clustering, catalog management, and performance optimization. Experience with on-premises server environments is required. Project Management: Ability to manage the migration project within a tight timeline. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and ensure timely completion. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues that arise during the migration.
