Must Have State of TX project Title: Project Manager Location: Austin, TX Local Only Duration: 6 + Months Visa- Only USC/GC or H4-EAD Description: The primary work location(s) will be at Stephen F. Austin Building, 1700 N. Congress, Austin, Texas 78701. The working position is On Site. Texas Department of Agriculture Description Oversee the planning, development, and execution of TDA Capital projects. Contribute to the Legislative Administrative Review (LAR) planning for new and existing project request . Oversee and evaluate processes used when developing new projects to ensure the teams are adhering to procedures consistently and confirm scope and schedule changes are documented, approved, and understood by stakeholders and project team members. Develop project budgets, schedules, works plans, resource requirements, cost estimates, and cost projections. Monitor and manage the quality of applications and works to identify continuous improvement measures/root cause and corrective actions. Verifies project deliverables are acceptable, fulfill terms of the team agreements, and are within budget. Communicate routinely to management, customers, project team members, and other stakeholders, actively soliciting and addressing customer and project team feedback. Communicate with external stake holders and oversee requisite reporting. Communicate monthly with internal stakeholders and as needed with Quarterly Assurance Monitoring team.. Responsible for problem management, issue resolution, and risk identification and mitigation, while empowering and motivating the team to have a sense of ownership over the application. Communicates a clear vision of all projects to the executive management team, customers, and project team. Coordinate the initiation and planning of diverse projects to meet strategic application and technology roadmap commitments.
