Position: Data Analyst Location: Plano, TX / Remote Type: Contract Looking for a candidate with 5yrs of experience who is responsible for working closely with Stewards on writing data quality rules using tools like IBM Information Analyzer. Responsible for testing and deploying the DQ rules work on creating templates to be shared with stewards for writing business rules. Work on metadata documentation in IBM IGC. Required to run meetings independently as required. Analyze existing DQ rules and fix issues, test and deploy. Identify duplicates in rules and fix them. Work and manage offshore and nearshore teams. Strong SQL knowledge. Write data quality rules in the DQ tool and also guide the team . Ability to work with Data Stewards and help them identify critical data elements and business rules for data quality. Determine business impact level for data quality issues. Work with Stewards to correct data quality errors. Develop and execute data cleanup measures. Maintain a record of original data and corrected data. Ensure adherence to data quality dimensions. Analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures. Very strong on SQL skills, very clear understanding of Data Quality dimensions.
