Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Work Location & Reporting Address: San Jose, CA Contract duration: 6 months Minimum years of experience: 8+ years Key skills: Having 8-10 Years of IT experience in Oracle PL/SQL and Unix scripting Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming, developing complex code units. Extensive Experience of creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views and Exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking and migrating complex data sets in Oracle. Expertise in creating the indexes on tables and partitioning the table for SQL tuning purpose. Strong hands-on experience in Unix and Scripting. Experience in using Linux Commands for log Analysis/Job failures, RCA and Performance checks of server including space, CPU utilization, Process checks etc. Good experience in ETL Processes and Data migration. Having good experience in Client Interaction and Presentation Skills. Good Experience in Snowflake Data Ingestion Process, Creating Views, tables, Failsafe, Stage and Time Travel. Good to have: Basic Python and Airflow knowledge Key Responsibilities: Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, senior management, and customers. Define project frameworks, identify, and build reusable components. Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to the functional requirements. Establish, follow, and review code for best practices and standards. Identify and fix improvement areas and performance bottlenecks. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve bugs/errors related to their applications. Help define project plans and tasks assignment requiring software development. Provide technical and project management expertise across multiple areas of application development. Investigate operational or systematic problems and user queries as required. Communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and verbally, in one-on-one and group presentation situations.
