Position: SQL BI Developer Location: Remote Only Duration: Long Term 1st Round: Screening 2nd Round(Client Round): Live SQL Test Must have: Strong SQL exp, Cognos experience Job Description: Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance/Accounting, or a related discipline. 5-7+ years of work experience in product life-cycle development and delivering BI solutions. Proficiency with at least one of coding/scripting languages. (Python, Scala, Go, Ruby) Experience in data manipulation and computational processing using both SQL and NOSQL. Experience with data warehousing, data mining, and data visualization tools. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Quick learner with a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and direct experience with AWS technologies (S3, SNS, SQS, RedShift, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda) Demonstrated proficiency with ETL (SQL and NO-SQL) database skills Demonstrated proficiency with data warehouse and OLAP technologies Demonstrated proficiency with Agile development methodologies Experience working with financial systems.
