The ideal candidate will have a blend of architecture and engineering skills to replace Cisco solutions with Zscaler across all fronts. The role involves developing a comprehensive migration plan, optimizing Zscaler performance, and implementing best practices to enhance user experience, particularly within Windows 11 environments. The position will focus 25% on architecture and 75% on engineering tasks. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Migration Planning & Execution:** Architect and implement a migration plan from Cisco to Zscaler, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal operational disruption. - **Performance Optimization:** Design and deploy strategies to enhance Zscaler's performance, meeting the clients efficiency and effectiveness standards. - **Mobile Support Enhancement:** Evaluate and improve Zscalers mobile support capabilities for Windows and iOS/Android platforms, aiming to reduce dependency on Cisco solutions. - **Alternative Solutions Assessment:** Assess and recommend alternative products if needed to bolster Zscalers mobile support. - **MDM Integration:** Utilize Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience, particularly with Intune, to streamline and optimize device management processes. - **Azure Integration:** Apply Azure expertise to seamlessly integrate Zscaler within the client's Azure environment. - **Best Practices Implementation:** Implement best practices to improve user experience with Zscaler, especially in alignment with Windows 11 environments. **Qualifications:** **Required:** - **Experience:** 8-10 years of proven experience in Zscaler architecture and engineering. - **Networking & Security:** 8+ years of demonstrated experience with Cisco networking and security. - **Platform Familiarity:** Experience with Zscaler and Cisco applications on Windows and iOS/Android platforms. - **SASE Solutions:** Proficiency in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions with a strong Cloud-first orientation. - **Migration Projects:** Proven track record of successfully managing migration projects from Cisco to Zscaler. - **Optimization Skills:** Ability to redesign, optimize, and implement best practices for Zscaler. - **MDM Experience:** Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), specifically with Intune. - **Azure Experience:** 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. - **User Experience:** Expertise in enhancing user experience with Zscaler on Windows 11 platforms.
