The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, core Java, and test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Postman, and Cucumber. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications, APIs, and services. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Strategy: Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality and adherence to requirements. Automation Testing: Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium and other automation tools to ensure efficient test coverage. API Testing: Utilize tools like Postman and Rest Assured to perform API testing, validating RESTful web services and ensuring robust backend functionality. Web Testing: Perform comprehensive web testing using Cypress and other web testing tools to ensure cross-browser compatibility, UI consistency, and responsive design. Behavior-Driven Development (BDD): Collaborate with development teams to implement BDD using Cucumber, ensuring clear communication of requirements and test scenarios. Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems. Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring high-quality code delivery. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Core Java and Selenium. Hands-on experience with Postman, Cucumber, and Rest Assured. Experience with Cypress for web testing. Solid understanding of API testing and web testing methodologies. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
