Title: Business Objects Developer Location: Remote Duration: 6 month contract w/ potential to extend Visa: H4 EAD GC UsC Years of Experience: Pretty niche find - so years of experience does not matter (try to get at least 2 though) JOB DESCRIPTION: What is the project : Support 1200 users, both US and international - they get requests for production issues, anything that needs to be optimized or isn't running quickly enough Candidate will be an experienced Business Objects Developer using SAP BO XIR2/XIR3, Desktop Intelligence Application. In this role the candidate will provide production and project support for the Investment Teams by creating new or modifying existing Business Objects Reports, non -objects based developed reports, using accounting system data. Required Skills: Top 3-5 skills: Sql/stored procedure - note: this is different than how most object developers are trained (see below) Biggest problem they are facing with hiring for this position in the past: They are using an older version of object development. This NOT an objects-based environment. Instead, they are using based primarily through stored procedure - each report is a distinct stored procedure or SQL or a mix of SQL and PERL Sybase Understanding of UNIX Python is nice to have - not mandatory Interview Process: 1 Round: 2 developers (nonbusiness objects developer and a business objects developer, plus the HM). Zoom interview - 1 hour, round robin panel interview.
