Position: Workday Financial Functional Consultant Duration: 12+ months Location: Harrisburg, Pa. 90% remote Job Description seeking a skilled and experienced Workday Financial Functional Consultant who will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Financials. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes and the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions within the Workday platform. Key Responsibilities: Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of Workday Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and Expenses. Business Process Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design efficient financial processes, and ensure alignment with Workday capabilities. System Enhancements: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations, and work with technical teams to implement and test changes. Data Migration: Assist in data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data transferred into Workday. Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the Workday Financial modules. Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Financial modules, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure that the Workday Financial system complies with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Experience: In-depth knowledge of Accounting principles. 4 years experience with Workday Financials and Financial Management. Strong background in financial processes, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. 4+ years experience with: o Workday Financial modules including Financial Data Model (FDM). o Business Requirements o System Integration o Test plans o Supporting end-users o Analyzing data Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Workday integrations and security configuration. Knowledge of project management methodologies. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Certifications: Workday Financials certification is highly desirable.
