Must have broad knowledge about LinuxUnix operating system architecture. 3. Must have experience with multi-threaded system design and implementation. 4. Must have experience doing system level design for client-server applications, socketprogramming, complex data structures, linked lists, function pointers, multi-dimensional array etc. 5. Should be aware of IPC and synchronization mechanisms. 6. Complete understanding of software development life cycle. 7. Good knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals. Should be able to debug network TCP dumps. 8. Experience with Perl//PHP would be a definite advantage. 9. Clean coding habit is a must. Candidates must know developing high quality working code. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure succeful delivery of complex projects. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
