Job Title: SAP GTS Architect Location: Hybrid ONSITE in BOSTON, MA. The role requires onsite 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs). If a non-local candidate, Cognizant will re-imburse T&E. However, the candidate MUST be able to commit to being onsite EVERY WEEK Tues-Thursday. Please include your candidate's location and availability with each submission. Job summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect with 17 to 20 years of experience in SAP ERP GTS Customs Management, SAP ERP GTS Compliance Management, and SAP GTS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Order to Cash Order Management and Finance & Accounting. This role involves leading complex projects, ensuring seamless integration, and driving innovation to support our company strategic goals. Job responsibilities: Responsible for driving discussions with the customer SMEs, IT, defining Key design decisions, business process flows and finalize design. Responsible analyzing and documenting requirements, providing best possible solutions to customer requirements, standardization of the current processes and harmonizing them. Design new solution extensions, participate and contribute to the solution roadmap, implementation strategy and help in creating solution documentation. Participate in technology integration discussions and contribute towards solving them. Accountable for meeting committed deliverables and deadlines. Minimum Qualifications: Excellent understanding of SAP and S/4HANA best practices and proven experience in implementation of SAP in the Life sciences sector. Exposure to compliance requirements-GMP, Export compliance, Expertise in setting up and running through solution demos and presentations to customers/business stakeholders o Experience in implementation of the SAP GTS Master data synchronization ( BPs, Materials.)Compliance management, Customs management(Export /Import management, customs procedures, FTZ, bonded warehousing, ), Preference management, Embargoes/SPL, Intrastat reporting. Experience of working in GTS integrated with ECC as well as with SAP S/4HANA. Experience in Blueprint design and documentation. Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills. Ability to set, manage and meet expectations with SMEs and stakeholders.
