Role: SAP BTP Location: Raritan, NJ- onsite Duration: Contract to Hire Mode: Video Job Details: Role Description: Solution Design: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs for custom applications and extensions on SAP BTP. Design scalable and modular solutions using ABAP and the RAP framework. Development: Develop custom ABAP programs, classes, interfaces, and enhancements to implement business logic and functionality. Utilize the ABAP RAP framework to build domain-centric data models, business services, and user interfaces for SAP Fiori apps.Integration: Integrate custom applications and extensions with other SAP and non-SAP systems using various integration technologies such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Process Integration (PI/PO). Implement RESTful APIs and OData services to expose and consume data.UI Development: Design and develop user interfaces for custom applications using SAP Fiori elements and SAPUI5. Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience and productivity.Testing and Quality Assurance: Plan and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for custom applications and extensions. Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications under various scenarios. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, code documentation, and user manuals. Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams on custom applications and extensions. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for custom applications and extensions deployed on SAP BTP. Monitor application performance, diagnose technical issues, and implement bug fixes and enhancements as needed.Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices related to ABAP and RAP development. Participate in training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.Strong understanding of the BTP platform business values, technical architecture, and catalogue of services Development experience with one or more BTP extension technologies: Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Low-Code/No-Code platform for Citizen Development, Workflow Management Knowledge of databases features (HANA), and experience with SQL. Familiarity with platform services generally used for technical tasks, like Audit Log, HANA Cloud, Notifications, Cloud Foundry, CI/CD, SAP Business Application Studio, Transport Management, Connectivity Some experience in automated software testing Knowledge of the software development life cycle and/or DevOps Solid understanding of integration concepts and capabilities of BTP Integration Suite Familiar with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Preferred certificate: C_CPE_14 Competencies: Digital : SAP FIORI Experience (Years): 8-10 Essential Skills: Core ABAP, RICEF, Enhancements - Customer Exits , BADIs , enhancement Point , sections Interfaces - IDOCs , Odata , Proxies Forms - Adobe forms CDS views Exposure to S/4HANA Cloud S4 HANA Hands on BTP Dev and cloud programming( CAPM) or at least knowledge/awareness in this area AMDP Desirable Skills: SAP UI5/Fiori/BTP developers Proficient in Fiori /UI5 development Extensive experience in Building Custom UI5 Applications Good to have prior BTP experience, CAPM knowledge Minimum exp is 5 years.
