**NO h1b Role: API DEVELOPER Location: remote Duration: 1 year+ LinkedIn Mandate Responsibilities: This role will work with the product team to build integrations with backend systems, serving customer facing web portals. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud integration patterns and experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services. Must be able to effectively interact with Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, and business users to understand the overall enterprise solution. Must be capable of managing multiple deliverables and defining scope for new or existing applications. Required Skills/Qualifications: 5+ years of experience developing and implementing APIs Strong coding skills; 5+ years Python experience is required 2+ years of experience developing GraphQL APIs 1+ years of experience with AWS AppSync 2+ years AWS native technologies such as API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Step Functions, Elastic ache 1+ years of experience with IaC tools such as Terraform Experience with ORM tools such as SQL Alchemy Experience with SQL and database such as Postgres RDS, DynamoDB and SQL Server Experience implementing multiple data caching patterns Experience with API design patterns and guidelines Experience with Agile development practices and techniques Experience with version control tools, such as Git Experience writing and verifying secure coding techniques Experience writing unit tests Effective communication skills, with the ability to mentor others on the team Ability to troubleshoot services in complex distributed environments Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and collaborate with team members Strong attention to detail Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Hands on experience using CI/CD and DevOps practices to deliver products Experience with other AWS integration services such as EventBridge and Step Functions\\ Experience implementing event-driven integration patterns Knowledge of Snowflake cloud data platform Knowledge of SAP OData services Applicable AWS certifications or training Familiarity with authentication and authorization services such as Okta Edit Client Job Description Additional Details Notes: There is possibility of hiring in the future.
