Data Scientist 12+ months hybrid contract from day 1 (2-3 days/week onsite and 3-2 days/week remote) Locals to Peoria, IL/Chicago, IL/Champaign, IL area candidates ONLY Skills/Experience needed: Bachelor's Degree (Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering) with 5+ years of experience as Data Scientist MUST have Excellent python skills (NumPy/pandas/matplotlib/sklearn), version control (git), SQL and database APIs (cx_oracle, pymysql, SQL alchemy), cloud deployment experience (AWS, containerization) and familiarity with AWS services (S3/EC2/Sage Maker). Comfortable and effective working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Machine Learning model development experience, familiarity with engineering/IOT systems, telematics/timeseries data analysis, and multiprocessing frameworks AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or higher) - desired Excellent communication skills. Critical thinking and independent problem resolution. Ability to work both independently and in a team collaborates and compromises effectively.
