Salesforce admin/ Dev

6 month contract to hire

location is Alexandria, VA.

Remote but locals are preferred.

Process: 2 hour long video interviews.

Must be USC, GC or EAD-GC with approved i485.

Hybrid Admin and Dev position, heavier on the admin side.

Working on day to day operations, as well as a Fonteva integration.

Will be the primary SF resource on team.

will administer our Salesforce database, lead our internal technology development, work closely with other units in support of their missions, and support our internal and external stakeholders in our various software platforms. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of Salesforce administration, Visualforce development, security, integration, and reporting. Strong familiarity of Google Work Space, E-commerce, data management, and event software is a plus. You will work closely with all teams to ensure our overall success.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage our Salesforce installation and related platforms, including Fonteva, Cvent, HubSpot.

Work closely with our outside vendors to ensure great outcomes.

Support the NHSA team with training and onboarding of technology.

Support our conference team ensuring success with multiple conferences and events.

Seek and apply innovative and cost effective solutions to our technology backbone.

Respond  to helpdesk communications as Tier 1 support.

Provide excellent and delightful customer service to internal and external customers.

Other relevant duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum qualifications and skills

A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Salesforce administrator.

Demonstrated understanding of Google Workspace Suite.

The ability to develop and integrate systems that simplify user experience and expectations.

Organizational skills, including the ability to take a set of deliverables and develop processes, a timeline, and leverage partnerships that lead to high-quality, on-time results.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Demonstrated ability to work within a dynamic team structure.
