Job Description:

2+ years of Oracle OCI Administration Experience

Experience Setting up OCI infrastructure and PaaS connections

Plus Skill: OCI User Administration

Experience with PAAS Infrastructure or Cloud Infrastructure PaaS.

What is PaaS Infrastructure https://www.oracle.com/cloud/what-is-paas/

OCI is part of the implementation, but it is already in the environment.

This person Implement OCI best practices at F&D.

Infrastructure Background with User Admin experience (Administering the sign on and making sure it works with the integrations)

Notes from Hiring Manager:

They need this person ASAP because they are going to start putting the PAAS infrastructure in place soon and need someone to manage it.

Will not be working alongside the Systems Integrator.

Other backgrounds Heavy infrastructure background. User administration experience is key. Administering the sign on and making sure it works with the integrations.

They need to know how to set up the PAAS infrastructure and best practices for PAAS infrastructure. Laying out foundational structure for OCI.

This is an On-prem application, as well as knowing PAAS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Deploy and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources including compute, storage, and networking services.

Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.

System Configuration and Maintenance:

Configure and maintain OCI services, including Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), load balancers, and compute instances.

Implement and manage automated deployment processes using Oracle Clouds native tools and third-party solutions.

Security and Compliance:

Implement security best practices and manage access controls using Oracle Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM).

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, performing regular security audits and updates.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues, collaborating with Oracle support teams as needed.

Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure setups, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
