Position: Azure Solution Architect (onsite) Location: Houston, TX || locals Only Duration: 3-6 Months Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Azure Architect to join our team. In this position, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure architecture, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in complex environments. Key Responsibilities: Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure cloud solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices. Implementation: Oversee the implementation of Azure solutions, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS) components. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Azure solutions. Strategy Development: Develop and maintain cloud strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technology standards. Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize Azure environments to improve performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, deployment processes, and system configurations. Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Azure-related issues and incidents. Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and other stakeholders on Azure best practices and cloud architecture principles. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on Azure cloud architecture and design. Certifications: Azure Architect certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Kubernetes Service. Leadership: Proven experience leading architecture projects and teams, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of designing and implementing efficient cloud solutions. Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
