Sr Business Data Analyst w PM(9+ years) Financial clients exp. must Location: Boston, MA Hybrid (seeking only local with DL) Visa: USC, GC, GC-EAD only Duration: 6+ months MOI: Video interview Need Senior profiles with 9 years of experience About the job We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong Project Management abilities. This position will work independently, taking ownership of tasks and executing projects with a high degree of autonomy. The ideal candidate will manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and optimal outcomes while balancing both business analysis and project management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to support decision-making processes within the investment management domain. Data Governance & Controls: Ensure data governance standards and controls are upheld to maintain data integrity across projects. User Interaction: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure solutions meet business needs. Communication: Clearly communicate findings, project updates, and solutions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Investment Management: Support and work with investment management teams to deliver impactful solutions aligned with business goals. SQL: Write and execute SQL queries (joins, etc.) for data extraction, analysis, and reporting purposes. Meeting Facilitation: Run and manage meetings, ensuring agendas are followed and actions are clearly communicated and tracked. Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing to validate project deliverables and ensure quality standards are met. Project Management: Manage and lead projects, balancing multiple priorities, setting timelines, and delivering within scope and deadlines. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in data analysis and data governance within a financial services environment. Strong knowledge of SQL (joins, queries, etc.) and the ability to apply it in real-world scenarios. Experience in investment management processes and related technology. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to run multiple projects concurrently. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience interacting with users and stakeholders. Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Manual testing experience is a plus.
