This role involves creating innovative solutions for card payments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and integrating advanced technologies to enhance payment card services. Key Responsibilities: Architect Payment Card Solutions: Design scalable and secure payment card architectures that align with business objectives and customer needs. Integration and Implementation: Oversee the integration of payment card systems with existing infrastructure and manage the implementation of new technologies. Compliance and Security: Ensure that all payment card solutions adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements, including PCI-DSS. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units, technology teams, and external partners to define requirements, resolve issues, and deliver effective solutions. Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend new technologies and innovations to enhance payment card functionality and performance. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary enhancements. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for payment card systems, including design specifications, integration guides, and compliance reports. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as a Payment Card Solution Architect or a similar role in the financial services industry. Knowledge: Deep understanding of payment card technologies, including EMV, tokenization, and contactless payments. Regulatory Compliance: Strong knowledge of PCI-DSS and other relevant regulations governing payment card systems. Technical Skills: Proficiency in system architecture, integration practices, and payment card processing systems. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address and resolve payment card issues effectively. Preferred Skills: Certifications: Relevant certifications in payment card technologies or financial technology. Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with advanced payment technologies such as blockchain or digital wallets. Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects. Education: Degree: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced Degree: A master s degree or relevant certifications are advantageous. Additional Information: The role may require occasional travel to meet with stakeholders or attend industry events.
