Duration: 12 months ___________________________________________________________ Responsibilities: The Business Analyst (BA) position at the Texas Education Agency works on multiple projects that support the mission of the agency of improving outcomes for Texas students. This position performs advanced, senior-level business analysis work. The position may support more than one project or be assigned to special projects at any time. The business analyst serves as the conduit between the program/customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow. This BA will be involved at some level throughout the entire software development life cycle. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, the focus is shifted towards the management of the requirements specification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements, including requirements for enhancements post-implementation. Responsibilities: Updates roadway attribute data in client's custom spatial database. Follows documented workflows, standard operating procedures and best practices to consistently produce high-quality data with minimal errors or corrections. Coordinate with staff to obtain recommendations in the development of policies and procedures. Coordinate with District staff to assist in maintenance of roadway attribute data Reviews, analyzes, and summarizes documents. Assists with the development/maintenance of content for internal SharePoint wiki pages Use of Microsoft Product Suite including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams Performs related work as assigned.
