Role - Senior QA Engineer Location Salt Lake, UT Rate:$55/hr. EX:- 10+ Job Description: Manual Testing:o Execute comprehensive manual testing for iOS applications, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.o Identify, document, and report bugs and issues in a clear and concise manner.o Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.o Develop and maintain test cases and test plans. Build Creation and Deployment:o Create and deploy builds to development and staging environments.o Coordinate with the development team to ensure smooth and timely deployments.o Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues. API Testing with Postman:o Use Postman to perform API testing, including creating and executing test cases for RESTful APIs.o Validate API responses, data integrity, and error handling.o Document API test results and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Collaboration and Communication:o Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers.o Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.o Provide timely and effective communication regarding testing progress, issues, and risks.Requirements: Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer, specifically testing iOS applications. Proficiency in using Postman for API testing. Experience in creating and deploying builds to development and staging environments. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and teamwork skil (1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. (2.) To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure succeful delivery of complex projects. (3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). (4.) To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.
