We are currently looking for Network Engineer. Need: Network Engineer Location: Des Moines, IA (Onsite) Duration : Long term We are seeking a highly skilled and network engineer / technician responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for our networking infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities: 1.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. 2.Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, performance problems, and configuration errors. 3.Install, configure, and maintain networking devices and related software applications. 4.Collaborate with network engineers and other IT professionals to design, implement, and upgrade network infrastructure solutions. 5.Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities and threats. 6.Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference. 7.Assist in the planning and execution of network infrastructure projects, including hardware upgrades and technology migrations. 8.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Cisco networking products and solutions. Requirements: 1.Experience with Panorama and Palo Alto firewalls is preferred. 2.Cisco Certified Support Technician (Networking) or higher is preferred. 3.Proven experience in providing technical support for networking equipment and technologies. 4.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, routing, switching, VLANs, and subnetting. 5.Familiarity with network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs). 6.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. 7.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with end-users and colleagues. 8.Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
