Job Role: Azure Cloud Architect Work Authorization: USC/GC/GC-EAD/Only Location: Onsite at 4100 Garden City Dr, Hyattsville, MD 20785, 300 7th St SW, Washington, DC 20024, 2401 Mill Road, Alexandria, VA 22314 Length: 12+ months Minimum Requirements: Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, networking, storage, security, and virtualization technologies. o Exceptional cloud architecture experience and familiarity with architecture patterns and design. o Experience with using cloud-native tools, including: app services, functions, cloud policies, containers, micro-services, data orchestration, blog storage. o Experience coordinating software requirements and working with development teams. Governance Experience: Experience with aligning cloud strategies and technologies with enterprise architecture standards and IT roadmap. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. o Experience developing as-is and to-be documentation of configurations of cloud environments, including text and visuals Leadership: Ability to lead and guide technical teams in the implementation and management of cloud projects. Experience using MS Visio or other data or application visualization software to document application architecture. Experience developing visual dashboards of relevant raw data to support cost management with Power BI or other data visualization platform. Preferred Requirements: Experience in the transit industry.
