Position: Java Developer

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)

Duration 2+Years Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications. You will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, defining system functionality, and writing code in Java. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java applications.
Write efficient, testable, and reusable code adhering to best coding practices.
Analyze user requirements to create detailed design documents.
Implement RESTful APIs and web services.
Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and internal systems.
Perform unit testing and troubleshoot issues to optimize performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA teams.
Maintain code versioning through Git or other version control tools.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Continuously improve existing systems by researching new technologies and methodologies.Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Java (J2SE/J2EE) and object-oriented programming.
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Database management skills, including SQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
